Music-I have a concert in November.I am exited! History-Today I read about when Christopher Columbus got stuck on the Jamaican Islands because worms ate holes in the bottom of his boat. It was so damaging that they couldn't get off the islands until they were rescued. Meanwhile, they were really hungry, but they didn't know how to grow their own food, and they didn't know where to get it. So the native people fed them until one of the chiefs said something like, "Get your own food," and they didn't feed them anymore. Columbus didn't know what to do, but then he remembered that there was going to be an eclipse soon. He gathered the chiefs together and told them that he had power over the moon, and that if they did not feed his men, then he would make the moon go away. They didn't believe him, but then the eclipse came, and they cried and begged for him to make the moon come back in the sky. When the eclipse ended, the native chiefs fed his men again, and after that his men never went hungry again.
