If this isn't the sweetest thing then I don't know what is. I had the kids write thank-you notes to their string teachers, and we made cake bites as a good-bye gift. Naomi's note reads:
Dear Mrs. Candland,
You are the best. You would be the second best if I had 1000 teachers.
Love, Naomi
Of course, Naomi totally took it for granted that Mrs. Candland would take it as a great compliment that the only better teacher in the world than herself, is Naomi's mom. What a cutie.
