Naomi's reading has really taken off! We've been reading every day in the McGuffy's reader, and when she has a good attitude, reward her by reading a book of her choosing when we're done. My favorite thing about reading with her is that without my asking her to do so, she always makes up a sentence to show she understands each vocabulary word. And the sentences she makes up almost always end in exclamation points:
Do not shake my puppy!
I love the way you teach him to sit still!
It is not polite to lick peoples' faces!
Naomi's favorite thing about reading time is cuddling with me. The sweetheart.
