History

In history I've been adding a lot of things on my timeline.  A lot of things because I've been slacking on my timeline.  In co-op we learned about the guy who invented a wooden clock.  There was a contest to figure out latitude or  longitude, and he went in the contest.  He thought, "Well, maybe one of my clocks could fix this problem."  So he made a clock and went on a ship, and the captain died, but the new captain was really impressed.  But the inventor was a perfectionist and he kept pointing out the things he didn't like about the clock, so he didn't get the prize.  He made another, heavier clock that was really pretty and he gave it to the king.  And this clock was damaged by some magnets the king kept in his closet.  But he fixed it and he was able to figure out the latitude longitude problem, and he won the contest.
