Today I was reading our Usborne Encyclopedia of history [that book is awesome] and I laearrned about some of the first cities. At first, people just made huts out of animal bones,wood,and stone.Then they started to make these kind of big buildings but that didn't have doors. instead,there were ladders that led up to holes in the roof.When an enemy came,they puled the ladders up. Is that cool or what?
