Paul is taking his first steps to learning how to read.  I bribe him each morning: he does a reading lesson with me, and then I read to him a book of his choice.  It is usually the big Animal Atlas, which he adores.  He gets to choose three or five animals to learn about.  He loves to learn and is so much fun to work with.
