So,in my history book i learned about John Smith and how all the explorers couldn't have done any thing without him.At first they just tied him up in the ship and went to explore themselves, but really they didn't even know how to navigate . Turns out he was on the list the government wanted to be doing all the important stuff and they had to let him free. Later he went to see if he could trade with the Indians. He was captured by a tribe of Indians  and the daughter of the Powhatan [chief] Pochantus saved his life just before they bash ed his brains out by laying her head on his. Did you know that they totally got the Disney movie wrong? John smith never fell in love with her and besides, she was only around thirteen! They were close friends and he was always welcome to their tribe is all. Whew! this is the longest entry I've ever done!
