This morning Isaiah asked for this letter puzzle, and since Paul was about to do English anyway, we did it together.  I'm not sure we've ever used it together, but today the timing was perfect: Paul's got a good handle on most of the phonograms, and it's time for him to practice reading with upper case letters--also, the timing was perfect because we needed something fun today.  I found myself wondering who gave this puzzle to us.  Since we home school, so many kind friends and family members think of us first when they have manipulatives and textbooks to give away.  We don't use everything we receive simply because of the amazing volume of gifts we get every year.  But because we can pick and choose, we have so many great resources that fit our needs exactly.  I am so grateful for a home bursting with fun educational supplies.
